Gravestone Photographs Resource: send a message to someone who requested a photo

Send a message to the person who requested a photo of the grave monument of Gerald Windle with the following comment:

Relative. My paternal grandfather and grandmother came from Lineholt (Ombersley). My gradmother was Mary Underwood. Her youngest sister was Elsie Underwood who married Fred Windle. I live now in Lancashire but have visited surviving realtives in Lineholt regularly as I did with my father when I lived with my parents in Walsall. Unfortunately I am in Ombersley on Wednesday of this week at the funeral of my last relative who lived in the hamlet, Beryl Underwood whose father was Cecil Underwood, brother to Elsie Windle. I have known of the Castlemorton connection with my family for many years but, as you do, I never got the whole story from my father before he died 30 years ago. He was John Henry Taylor (Harry) and was the nephew of Elsie. He told me a story of bumping into A Windle at the Rye Cross garage Berrow and I am aware, that I have second cousins in the area. Today, I thought I would do some searching and found your web site.Best wishesJohn Taylor ( Hesketh Bank, Preston, Lancashire)
